EC Infosystems received a total savings of $2,540,250.
EC Infosystems was rapidly growing. They had 10,000 square feet at 50 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Mitchell Field which could no longer accommodate their needs. They still had two years remaining on their lease but ownership felt they could no longer operate under the overcrowded conditions.
EC Infosystems needed to find a new building with the available space to accommodate their growth. EC also needed a building offering the location, infrastructure and amenities that would appeal to the hiring of new employees. As a growing tech company, the finding, hiring and retaining talent was one of their biggest challenges. In other words, they needed an “A” building in a great location.
EC infosystems was not satisfied with any of numerous Commercial Real Estate brokers they had worked with in the past.
EC Infosystems needed professional representation with a background working with tech companies. Upon interviewing Ross Selinger, president of Selinger Enterprises, Inc. EC decided he was the man they were looking for.
Ross’s first steps were to understand the needs of EC and develop a strategy to find the perfect building at a great price with a substantial workletter for them. Ross had to “Make the Market” for EC. To do this he developed a presentation on the company and with an RFP he brought it to all the landlords on EC’s short list. This made the landlords of these buildings compete for the tenancy of EC Infosystems.
Ross structured a deal with EC’s present landlord. RXR Realty for EC to lease 20,700 square feet of space in one of RXR’s premier buildings: the OMNI at 333 Earle Ovington Boulevard, Mitchell Field.
